"You positive you're here?" Plankton said, leaning out of his vehicle and looking around the parking lot of the unfinished recreation center. There were no other cars.
The mystery guest was beta-testing goggle-and-glove architecture that is the opposite of your dreams. "Thanks, I know where I left it, I just have to get myself turned around," he explained. "You head back to the scene now."
"Sure thing, lieutenant," Plankton replied. "Hey, by the way, where can I find you?"
"I've checked in at the motel," the mystery guest said uneasily.
"One step ahead of me, ay?" Plankton said, all cheerful like. "Well, stay in touch. I don't want to fall too far behind on this one!"
The mystery guest gave a wave as Plankton steered out of the lot, spinning gravel. It was going to be a long walk back to where he was parked.
